I'm very excited to be part of GLPTN and witness firsthand some of the exciting changes that are taking place in our healthcare system to help promote high quality care. I hope to see the tools of implementation science put to the test to help rapidly disseminate meaningful improvements to healthcare processes and ultimately to patients' lives.

GLPTN – Professional Internal Assistance Requests
Professional Internal Assistance Requests
Great Lakes PTN has the unique opportunity to assist practices and clinicians with projects or programs that could benefit from short-term, expert assistance.
Requirements:
- The practice must be currently enrolled in the Great Lakes PTN
- Project or program you are seeking assistance for must be an existing project/program that could benefit from 4-5 months of intense, focused, expert assistance
- Assistance is expertise (human capital) and not financial assistance
- Assistance will terminate on September 28, 2017
- Project or program must be focused on cost savings and/or quality improvement
- Projects or programs that are transferable and can benefit the network as a whole will be given priority consideration
Examples of assistance that would be considered:
- User-centered design
- IT support
- Data extraction support
- Analytics
- Business mapping/workflow
- Marketing
- Clinical content expertise
- Project management
- Other items, as appropriate
Deadline to submit your request is Monday, April 17th by 5:00pm ET.
